One screen for the whole kitchen — the Tablejoy KDS

Paper tickets fall on the floor. Printers jam mid-service. And when online orders arrive next to dine-in orders, someone has to merge two streams in their head. The kitchen display system (KDS) in Tablejoy puts everything on one screen, in the order it needs to leave the pass.

Every order, one feed

The KDS shows POS orders and online orders side by side, live. A new ticket arrives with a chime; delivery orders show their target time, dine-in orders show their course. When an order changes after it hits the kitchen, the ticket flags the change until someone acknowledges it — no more 'nobody told me'.

Stations that route themselves

Assign a station to a product or a whole category — bar, cold kitchen, grill — and each station sees only its own lines. Tick lines off one by one, bump the whole ticket when it's done, or recall it when the runner comes back with questions. Need something now? Mark it rush and it jumps the queue everywhere.

Courses and timing

Starters, mains, desserts: the KDS understands courses, and the 'fire' from the register tells the kitchen exactly when to start the next one. Prep times per item help the screen sort what should be started first.

Printing when you want it

Prefer paper for some stations? Kitchen printing works alongside the screen: Epson printers connect over the network or with Server Direct Print (the printer polls us, no open ports), with a fallback printer if one runs out of paper mid-shift.
