Privacy Policy

Tablejoy ("we", "us") provides a reservation widget, an admin dashboard, and native mobile apps for restaurants and hospitality teams. The Service is operated by Wearemade, Middendam 4, 1141 BC Monnickendam, the Netherlands. This policy explains what we collect, why, and what rights you have. We act as the data controller for account and website data, and as a processor on behalf of restaurants for the reservation data their guests submit.

We use your data to operate the Service, authenticate users, render the widget with the correct branding, take and manage reservations, send operational notifications, provide support, improve the product, and meet legal obligations.

Where GDPR applies, we rely on: performance of a contract (operating the Service for you), legitimate interests (product improvement, security, fraud prevention), consent (optional push notifications), and legal obligations (tax, accounting).

We share data only with vetted sub-processors needed to run the Service — hosting, database, email and push notification delivery, and payment processing. We do not sell personal data and we do not share it with advertising networks or data brokers.

We do not use any external or third-party cookies, and we do not run advertising, marketing, or cross-site tracking. The website and admin use only a small number of essential first-party cookies that are strictly necessary to operate the Service — for example, to keep you signed in and to remember your language preference. Because none of these are used for tracking, no cookie consent banner is required. You can clear cookies from your browser at any time; doing so will sign you out.

We offer native apps for iOS and Android. The apps do not use cookies or third-party advertising or analytics SDKs, and they do not track you across other apps or websites. With your permission, the apps may send push notifications (for example, new reservations); you can revoke this at any time in your device settings. The apps collect a device identifier and basic device information solely for security, support, and crash diagnostics. Data handling in the apps follows the same principles described in this policy.

Where data is transferred outside your region, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.

We keep account and reservation data for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period afterwards to comply with legal obligations and resolve disputes. You can request deletion at any time (see Your rights).

Subject to local law you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing. Email privacy@tablejoy.app and we will respond within the statutory time limits.

The Service is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice.
